With this book, I invite you to discover my journeys, from the most idyllic to the most unsettling, through three trips...

In the first, I embark on a boat across the Atlantic, even though the world of sailing is unknown to me. Mainsail torn and re-stitched, irreparable engine failure...

We cross the ocean anyway with a makeshift sail and the wind as our only fuel.

Then, from Papeete, I will continue my two-year circumnavigation of the world.

The second is a "hybrid" journey: maritime and terrestrial, undertaken with my partner. In the Cyclades, we winterize the sailboat and fly off to Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia...

Finally, the third journey I want to share with you is more singular: at 42, a stroke literally confines me.

Trapped within my skull, fully conscious, I hear and see, but only my eyelids can still move. However, hope remains.

This last journey "deep within myself" is the origin of this autobiographical account. This incredible journey brought me even more than the previous ones!
