The study of enforcement procedures is a necessary complement to the teaching of contract law and civil procedure. Indeed, while spontaneous performance of obligations and judgments remains the general rule, non-payment has become commonplace as indebtedness has become widespread. A jurist who is rightly concerned with the effectiveness of the law cannot therefore ignore the rules of forced execution. Updated, in particular, with the amendments to the regime of real estate seizure decreed on February 12, 2009, and the new rules applicable, since the decree of April 10, 2009, to the seizure of motor vehicles, this work retains its initial characteristics. Designed for students and all those who wish to approach the subject or familiarize themselves with the new procedures, it aims above all to be pedagogical. It presents, in a first part, the rules common to the different enforcement procedures and those specific to each, and, in a second part, the distribution procedures that are the usual and natural consequence of enforcement procedures. Questions and answers at the end of sections or chapters allow the reader to review the essential rules and their knowledge.
