A few years ago, Renault-PSA laboratories unveiled the BlackJag, a revolutionary car, entirely organic and alive, the result of years of research combining several scientific disciplines. Today, Professor Fransen, the genetic engineer at the head of the project, sees one of the very first models, the prototype, returned by the police for questioning. For ten years, this model was used for public demonstrations around the world, before being put on sale. But its owner, Antoine Donnat, has just disappeared, and the BlackJag was the last to see him. Under the supervision of bailiff Klein, Fransen will interrogate the car's synthetic memory to try to reconstruct the events of recent months. It is the BlackJag that speaks, a direct witness to the daily life of the Donnat family; it is she who, through the recordings, tells her story.
