Going to the ends of the earth to sort out his fear! That's what Marc imagines as he flees the French Riviera, where he started a terrible fire. A night train takes him to Paris, but that's not far enough. A tourist poster invites him: "Ouessant, the extreme tip of Europe." On this island surrounded by autumn storms, Marc will meet people who will, in turn, bring him hope and fear, until a desperate attempt to escape the trap closing in on him. But even at the ends of the earth, Marc will have to account for his actions.
