Born in Uruguay in 1953, Carmen Posadas lives in Madrid. She received the Planeta Prize in 1998. Her novels "Cinq Mouches bleues" (Five Blue Flies) and "La Dame de Cœurs" (The Queen of Hearts), international bestsellers, are available in Points editions.
"Carmen Posadas is precisely situated between Agatha Christie and the early Pedro Almodóvar. She has managed to integrate various influences and offer a body of work whose key characteristic remains black humor."
