Luce de Lune, the shoe merchant, is an initiatory and wondrous tale occasionally touched by contemporary reality. Customers of the Soulier boutique can come from far and wide: from the plains of Siberia, from Africa on elephant back. They are also city customers: watchmakers, bankers, old people, gypsies. They don't enter a traditional shoe shop, but a designer boutique where shoes are sewn from dreamlike materials. One day, a wondrous being appears: Chabadabada with long feet. Driven by a strange force, she grows and shrinks until she transforms into a shoelace that is unfortunately cut into pieces. Luce de Lune, touched, will strive to put her back on her feet...
