Little known, but every year, in the church of Kerimäki in Finland, a guardian angel training seminar takes place. Five hundred of them gather there, and in less than a week, the angel Gabriel and his assistants have the daunting task of teaching them how to protect a mortal and guide them on the right path. Among the celestial apprentices is Ariel Auvinen, an angel as zealous as he is clumsy. After his theoretical training, Ariel moved on to practical exercises. Not very conclusive: after guiding his protégé, a somewhat devout old lady, to the local bar where she conscientiously got drunk, he tried aerial acrobatics, but with a wingspan of ten meters, it's not an easy feat! However, he is entrusted with a mortal: Aaro Korhonen, a man respectable in every way and capable of taking care of his own affairs. Even an angel as clumsy as Ariel Auvinen will probably not manage to wreak havoc in his life, much less expose him to the temptations of the devil. At least, that's what the angel Gabriel believes.
