The 2008 stock market crisis, an unprecedented phenomenon, affected every one of us. It is essential to explain the mechanisms that led to this chaos and disrupted the lives of the French people. Current choices and economic policies are a disaster for a large part of humanity and, if not controlled, risk sparing neither humans, nor useful resources, nor nature. Certainly, reforms have been implemented. But are they enough to prevent a new crisis? However, solutions do exist. Another form of finance, more solidarity-based and ethical, is developing almost spontaneously within civil society. It is an alternative capable of remedying the failures of a system whose inadequacy becomes apparent year after year.
