On a festive day, in a beautiful castle in Spain: the maid Suzanne and the valet Figaro are about to tie the knot. But some intend to spoil their pleasure or at least find their own: the master threatens to prevent the marriage if the beauty does not grant him her favors; another wants to force Figaro to marry her. So many twists and turns up to the wedding ceremony, and even beyond! Jealousy, tricks, disguises, lies... are on the program of this Crazy Day which, despite its apparent lightness, reveals the inequalities of a society that does not reserve the same fate for individuals depending on whether they are born men or women, noble or commoner, rich or miserable.
