For a long time, humans lived on Earth without paying attention to its balance, which is now seriously threatened. Our numbers are growing, and due to our way of life and consumption, we are taking up more and more space on the planet... too much space! Natural resources are being depleted, animal and plant species are disappearing, one in five people don't have enough to eat, one in six don't have access to drinking water, and many children cannot go to school... Acting for sustainable development means working together, at all levels, to share resources, reduce inequalities, and preserve the environment. By changing our habits and showing solidarity, we can all play an important role and help keep the Earth habitable for our grandchildren... We all need to get involved; it's urgent!
