1930. Alexandre Kerner has aged and seems disoriented since his father's death. Elisabeth Stein, his former mistress, brings him back to life by introducing him to Yasmina Khedda. This young Franco-Algerian woman, deeply involved in anti-colonial actions, drives Alexandre wild with desire.
