The last days of Van Gogh's life through the eyes of a teenage girl from that era.

It's 1980, and thirteen-year-old Adeline Ravoux already looks sixteen and dreams of going to her first dance with Louis, her sweetheart. At the boarding house run by her parents in Auvers-sur-Oise, a new tenant has arrived, a tall, bony redhead with blue eyes. He calls himself Monsieur Vincent. All day long, he paints. But what paintings! His flowers don't resemble those in gardens: they are tormented and bring to mind cemetery porcelain. Some even say he's mad. Adeline, however, appreciates his kindness and discretion. But one day, Monsieur Vincent returns, holding his stomach with both hands: he has shot himself in the stomach.

From age 11.
