So why did it have to be that one day, her journalist mother was tempted to accept a "great" new job in Munich, four hours away by train? Why did Feli, boarding with her horrible aunt, have to be tempted, one evening after class, to take that train? And why did everyone have to be tempted to meddle in Feli's life, from her father's girlfriends to her mother's neighbors, not to mention the chickadee, her math teacher?
