Cecilia is far from seeing life through rose-tinted glasses. Her best friend has moved away, her father refuses to let her adopt a dog, and to top it all off, she has to go live with her aunt who spends her time judging her.
But when she discovers an adorable pug at the shelter where she volunteers, it's love at first sight! Cecilia puts all her heart into caring for Gnocchi and tries to convince her father to take him in, but she has to act fast because Eric, the cool and unbearable boy from her school, is about to adopt Gnocchi...
