Louis Faure, a teenager, has left home. Between parents who selfishly live their lives and him who only aspires to a career at sea, few feelings unite them.
Arriving in Saint Cyprien Plage in the middle of the summer season, he will only have eyes for the fishermen. One day, luck will finally smile on him, and he will be able to join a crew. Little by little, through his diligence and kindness, he will become the group's mascot. He loves this quiet village, its simple life, its traditions like the giant sardinade, among others.
However, one evening, while fishing off Cap-Béar, he will be the sole witness to a reflection in the lighthouse. He will tell his friends, who will dismiss it as a trick of the moon. Eventually, after he insists too much, they will advise him to drop it. But he, on the other hand, will not give up; especially since it's the old lighthouse, the one that has been out of service for a long time. His curiosity, his youth, and his quick wit will constantly push him to investigate.
He will meet Maurice, an old eccentric living near the semaphore who knows things... and also his beautiful granddaughter Sylvie.
But the beauty of the landscape sometimes hides certain things at the risk of becoming an inconvenient witness... The sea will only be more dangerous from now on!
