One cold December morning, Detectives Joe Gregory and Anthony Ryan of the New York Organized Crime Unit witness a far from innocent scene: thugs who appear to belong to the Mafia are throwing a 200-liter drum into the icy waters of the East River. Convinced that the drum contains a body, they call in divers who do indeed find a body, but... in another drum.
