Anna is happy. Her life in Roscoff, after a cruel start, has regained the colors of happiness. A husband, twins, and her passion-filled job as a journalist.

But what do these enigmatic messages arriving at the magazine's headquarters, addressed to her, mean? Who is urging her to shed light on an event of which she knows nothing? What lies behind the "October 32nd" that the mysterious messenger speaks of, and what significance does this improbable date hold in the eyes of the one sending these messages?

Supported by her readers, who through her column get caught up in the game, Anna will investigate. She will be helped by Mary, a young woman she recently met, with whom she will travel to Ireland. Meanwhile, the beautiful balance of her life begins to crack. Mysterious black butterflies burst into her existence. From the heart of Connemara to the shores of Roscoff, the nightmare will grow until the unexpected resolution.

Will she discover the meaning of October 32nd in time?

Born in Cherbourg in 1954, Martine Le Pensec lives in Toulon where she works as an employment counselor.

Mother of four daughters, of Breton and Norman origin, she draws her inspiration from the West and from the medical sector where she worked for twelve years.
