Used book – 2040, a Dog's Life, Yann de L'Ecotais

On this December 19, 2040, as France is sweating profusely, we record a harpoon gun murder, the suicide of a minister, an ecological revolution, the storming of pension funds, an adultery in the suburbs, the election of a mayor condemned by the mafia, a tax strike with two deaths thrown in... All very ordinary in a country where everything has gone awry, where everything is out of whack, since the beginning of the 21st century: the climate, politics, the economy, the currency, social issues, the environment, and diplomacy. Yann de l'Écotais is not a certified futurologist and does not intend to defend any thesis regarding the horrors that await the famous "future generations," our children. He has simply extended, with assumed subjectivity, the curves of current events - this is the "essay" part of the book - and imagined the news stories that could result - this for the "fiction." With "2040, a Dog's Year," a hybrid work, funny and/or disturbing, the author whips our reason. What if all this became reality? What if the madmen of tomorrow were merely the product of all the thoughtlessness of our time? Anticipation? Really?
